Read the entire Gita once — for the story, not the detail. Get a feel for the whole before the parts.
Master Chapter 2. Know the 10 most important verses. Understand atman, karma yoga, sthitaprajna.
Deep study of Chapters 3-5. Apply karma yoga for one week in your work. Notice the difference.
Chapter 6 mastery. Start a daily meditation practice, however small. This chapter is the manual.
Chapters 9 and 12. Explore devotion. What do you love? How can you make it an offering?
Chapters 13-15. The Field and Its Knower. Begin to notice the witness within you.
Chapter 14 mastery. Track your gunas daily. Consciously choose sattva. Notice the patterns.
Chapter 16. Honestly assess your qualities. Which column do you belong in — and which do you want?
The summit. The entire Gita in one chapter. Understand how all three yogas culminate here.
Revisit your favourite chapters. Teach something you've learned to someone else.
Begin to learn the Sanskrit of your top 10 verses. Even approximate pronunciation opens new meaning.
